The vtubing & kaigai idol scene continued to explode in 2025, and so did Neon Shrine, tripling the work of the previous year! We did a lot of events in 2025... let's look back at a few, shall we? If you have fond memories of us at any of them, we'd love to hear!
April 6th - Akiba Live Event in Little Tokyo
We boothed at the event to support Tonya & Mariya’s performance alongside local kaigai idols by selling their official penlights! This was our first event selling only original & official goods—back then, our lineup was pretty small. Looking back now, we’re incredibly grateful to be able to support our amazing collaborators at concerts like this!
May 10 - Brave Matsuri Akiba Live
An excellent showcase of local idols performing alongside V4Mirai & Idol talents! We boothed with both our original goods and helped sell Brave Group goods, such as photo cards, and distributed freebies like coasters! We also did social media coverage to commemorate the experience for fans who couldn't be there in person & a giveaway to encourage those on-site or at home to post their own photos/videos/thoughts about the event!

Sakuracon (April) /Anime North (May) 2025 Onwards - Moso Matsuri Penlight Collaboration & King Blade Debut!
We were excited to work with MosoBox to provide penlights for their MosoMatsuri concert series, featuring amazing performers at multiple conventions during the year! This was also the first time we officially launched the King Blade penlights at an event.
V: IRL Vtuber Rave May 31st
We sponsored & had goods sold at the V:IRL IRL & VTuber DJ Party at High Tide DTLA hosted by Vtuber Fan Events! This was such a cool event where we also debuted the Celes Aurion penlight, who was one of the DJs performing that night, while supporting our local community.
June 8th - Milkyway Marketplace Vol. 2
Right before Offkai, we decided to set up a booth at Asayoru Maid Cafe & ATS' Milkyway Marketplace event! It was awesome interacting with so many local fans and idols, and we're happy to see how much the event has grown since. Milkyway Marketplace usually happens every other month with idol performances and pop-ups, and we highly recommend you visit it along with Asayoru Maid Cafe when you're in the area!
Offkai Expo 2025
Neon Shrine got its start years ago at Offkai Gen 2, and Gen 4 was our most ambitious event yet!
In addition to making "shrines" of collaborators we had multiple items of, we also created a penlight wall for display to make it a fun walk-in experience!
We collaborated with Offkai Expo to provide them with the official penlights featuring a custom star top and pink handle.
Lastly, we collaborated with Vtuber Fan Events & Brave Group US to assist with the merch production & on-site setup for the Endless House Party event!
Fantastic Reality Concert - July 3rd
We boothed & produced most of the merchandise for the Fantastic Reality concert during Anime Expo weekend, assisted with running the official FR social media account, & helped organize on-site staffing logistics for the event!
Virtual Vacation Penlight - July 5th
During AX weekend, we also supplied the official penlight for Virtual Vacation! Ashton Marten is one of our collaborators, so we brought some Ashton goods to the pre-event park meetup hosted by Ryougraph who also designed the penlight film so the pitcrew could gear up for takeoff and support her!
"I didn't know about her before, but Ashton Marten was amazing, and I want to check her out!" This was a sentiment heard on multiple occasions as we were herded out of the venue. I felt so proud to have a new pit crew join in as well as experience the brilliant performances of Hyuni, Dooby, & Nimi!
Ado Fan Meetups - July 13th + 16th
Since we're based in both NorCal & SoCal as adomin, we hosted an unofficial pre-concert meetup to trade freebies, make kandi, and fulfill some adomin fanmerch that had been ordered ahead of time!
Speaking of kandi, did you know Mirynth is an absolute kandi queen? ;) Especially after all the hustle & bustle of Offkai & FR back-to-back, this was a nice change of pace to go back to our roots~
July 26th - Anime Impulse Bay Area
At AIBA, we did a simple setup with the main promo being a special Gamers Heaven Bay Area promo for those who spent a specific amount at our booth, and handed out GHBA flyers! Anime Impulses are great community-focused events and since we're a bay area local we were happy to be apart of it.
August 2nd - VFE Idol Life Concert at Akiba Live
We sponsored this event and commissioned a flower stand by Nini Yuuna for the Super Idol Life event hosted by Vtuber Fan Events! It was wonderful to support all the amazing vtubers take to the stage~
August 9th - Idol Harmony Penlight Collaboration
We helped supply the official Idol Harmony Penlights for their concert! Vtuber x IRL Idol lives are so exciting to experience, and it's always a pleasure to work with Oshispark to provide penlights for these events.
August - Gamers Haven Bay Area - First Physical Retail Partnership Begins!
We are now able to provide our collaborators with physical locations for fans to buy their goods at with GHBA! Isn't it cool to be able to go a store, some some coffee, and see your oshi's goods there?~ Each month, the stock changes too!
Anime NYC 2025 / Midtown Matsuri - August 21st
Our first time traveling for a con on the East Coast! We boothed at the event and also provided the official Anime NYC penlights with custom red-and-black handles that looked super cool. Additionally, we boothed and supported Midtown Matsuri with social media coverage and the release of our new Meimi penlight, since she was performing at the event hosted by Otagyaru & Holotakeover!

Peofest - August 31st
Right before heading to Europe, we made sure to support Peofest with special wedding-reception towels and the special event!
Vexpo - September 5th
Our first time traveling abroad for an event! In addition to boothing, we also sponsored the rock concert and did some social media coverage of both the rock, indie, and the Chromashift concert, where we debuted the first official Neon Shrine ad!

LA Idol Matsuri - Oct. 5
Something we want to do more of is supporting our collaborators directly at events they perform at, when we're also boothing, be it in the form of pictures, video, or special decor. Since this was a smaller event, we were able to take coverage for all of our collaborators there: SuperMelody + Sayucchi [NEW] & Digital Dropouts who have been with us for a while so we made a small wall of cutouts for them at the booth!
Additionally, we supplied the official event merch for the LAIM mascot standee, penlight, t-shirt, and muffler towel in two colorways!
V-Idol Cafe - Oct. 10 & 11th
The first collab cafe that we worked with Vtuber Fan Events & Vtoku to produce at Gamers Heaven Bay Area! This included freebies like cup sleeves/coasters, decor like standees, merch, a special M&G using the MOVIN system thanks to vtoku, and priceless memories!
October 18th - Offkai Reverie Official Penlight
We supplied the official penlights for the Offkai Reverie event during Twitchcon weekend! Two of our staff members drove down to drop them off and to experience Twitchcon weekend, including the Reverie itself, which was excellent. One big note about the Twitchcon trip is that the artist alley had some of the most unique merch designs, products, and ideas we've seen concentrated into one AA! Which was great, but not for our wallets LOL.
Additionally, we attended Club Ironmouse and posted some social coverage you can look back on! We're so proud to have seen Sanflare up there performing... ;_;

October 25th - Event Horizon (Vtuber Fan Events & Perry Winkleton)
While Neon Shrine didn't produce merch for this event, we did have a booth there as Vtuber DJs & Vocalists rocked the night away!
November 15th - Anime Destiny
We collaborated on an official penlight and supported a growing local college con as our last event of 2025!

Neon Shrine began as a hobby for Mirynth while she was still at Blizzard—not because she wanted to start a big business, but to celebrate VTubers. I (Wondermelo) first met her at a small meetup where she arrived with penlights in a suitcase. Seeing Nyaru and Pandora (ver. 1) penlights—my most-watched VTubers at the time—made me instantly excited. Along with our Event Manager Teika, Neon Shrine is a small but mighty three-person team, sharing our love for our oshis with you.
In 2024, we explored what this company could be. In 2025, we rebuilt it to be sustainable and scalable, tripling its size while preserving its soul and drawing on lessons learned. When passion and business intersect, the challenge is growing without losing care for the community that shaped you.
A shrine doesn’t conquer. It becomes a place people return to.
