Show!Gatsu Concert at Anime Los Angeles 2026

Show!Gatsu Concert at Anime Los Angeles 2026
Neon Shrine|

Kicking off 2026, Neon Shrine produced a concert alongside VToku Studios & Medium Fish Studio-- Show!Gatsu! Check out some behind-the-scenes moments and relive (or live vicariously through!) the experience in this recap!

Branding & Concept

What started as a conversation at TwitchCon in October about the possibility of using the ALA Main Stage blossomed into a full live 3D concert. It simply aligned that VToku wanted to produce a concert with the MOVIN motion capture system in the US, and Neon Shrine wanted to try to produce their own concert as the main sponsor as well. Part of the lineup had already been confirmed when deciding on the branding, so to fit the cooler vibe, we suggested a Rockin' New Year's concept like Wagakki Band and the name "ShowGatsu", later stylized as Show!Gatsu. Huge thanks to DVDarts as well for bringing our vision to life with unique designs and stunning background art. Perhaps you saw the Shrine stage debuting at the show... and maybe you'll be seeing more of that again~?... Now, onto the performers!

Emiliya Fell

Falling into the New Year with Emiliya doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all!  The Faithfell showed up in full force to cheer on heaven’s dropout, whose heartfelt vocals truly tugged at our heartstrings. Want to follow her journey? You can join her over on her YouTube channel!

Isaa Corva

When it comes to VTuber rockstars, Isaa Corva never disappoints in a performance, getting the crowd roarin' with festive energy! She pretty regularly participates in concerts & does originals/covers, so check out her YouTube channel to continue the vibe!

CottontailVA

With her powerful vocals and stage presence, CottontailVA brings phenomenal rock-star energy into the new year with fans hootin' and howling! If you didn't know already, she also has CottontailVA Music on YouTube & Spotify, where you can listen to more of her songs!

Chikafuji Lisa

Our favorite emo nightmare sheep, Chikafuji Lisa, got the crowd to mosh and do wotagei to get our energy up in the new year! In addition to using MOVIN tech for the concert, Lisa also used it in her recent cover of " Only Acting by Kero Kero Bonito, which has some sick visuals on top of her vocals.

Peoni & Mirynth

Mirynth

"Burnout was really getting to me before, but this concert… I want to do it!! I’m motivated again. I want to perform in 3D at ALA with everyone!”

That was Mirynth just days after saying Neon Shrine would slow down on events, and honestly? Hearing her sing with that soft, heartfelt energy makes it impossible not to feel inspired, too. She’s been much more active with content lately, so if you want updates from our space captain, follow her on Twitter

Peoni

The day I saw Peoni's 3D model is the day I nearly shed a tear, knowing the implications for the spread of wotagei in the digital world. Show!Gatsu was just the beginning of 3D Peo power with her duet with Mirynth, so please check out her Twitter for updates, including teaching your oshi wotagei & learn wotagei yourself with the Wotagei USA community!

SanFlare

Bay Area–based wotagei team SanFlare lit up the stage with incredible hype and energy during the show! You may have spotted them recently at events like Club Ironmouse, OffKai Reverie, or supporting idol events across the LA and Bay Area wota pits.
Check out their website to learn more and keep up with what they’re doing next, and get involved in the local Bay Area wotagei scene to learn for yourself!

Merch

For this event, we introduced Nama-shashin (生写真), collectable glossy idol bromides, to our event merch offerings. Since Peoni introduced her new 3D model, she posed around the shrine, making her signature facial expression, 6/7ing us, and more while signing them as a special on-site exclusive (with a limited amount also sold at her 3D watch party).

Idol Towels are something Neon Shrine has spent a lot of time doing R&D on as a mainstay of concert merch of our offerings, and we've finally found the perfect combo between a vibrant print on the frontside and absorbent material to sweat in on the back. Please use it, the SanFlare one, and future ones a lot while cheering and working out, okay?~

Oh, and omomori! They're Japanese good luck charms, so you can have your oshi supporting you in the new year~ Our Event Manager Teika ran a tight ship for super quick on-site setup and takedown along with our team, which really makes me think about how far we've come with booths through the years... If you want a closer look at the merch, we also made a rockin' promo video~

OshiSnap Booth

Thank you to VTuber Fan Events, who helped us make additional sales post-concert at their ALA booth and ran OshiSnap sessions for our Show!Gatsu headliners in conjunction with VToku Studios! On top of that, they even agreed to help us fulfill Nene Amano oshikatsu orders since she was performing in the BOGO concert, as it wouldn't arrive in time if shipped to Cloudtomo.

Additionally, it was cool to see Show!Gatsu in ALA's event recap video! You can check other community coverage of the event with the #Showgatsu hashtag.

A special thanks to all of our collaborators for making this weekend possible:

And of course, the one who makes all this possible: you. Let's shine together into this new year! IKZ!
